Gotas de Fuego

Gotas de Fuego explores the emotional landscapes of Oaxacan cantinas. Named after a popular cantina song in which love becomes a metaphor for alcoholism, the project examines themes of longing, separation, and fleeting connection through moments observed within these gathering places. Created through years of quiet observation, the photographs trace the stories that surface in gestures, light, and shared space, revealing the complex emotional lives that unfold behind cantina doors.
